Good afternoon, my name is Yih Ying. I am a student pursuing Master in Clinical Psychology at University of Cyberjaya (UoC). I am currently collecting data for research thesis. My research is to examine coping skills of parents in explaining the relationship between severity of child's ASD symptoms and psychological well-being of parents with ASD children.
There is not many ASD research in Malaysia especially focusing on psychological well-being of parents. The aim is to add knowledge to ASD research in Malaysia and improve intervention to support the parents in giving care for their ASD children. It also aims to increase awareness to practice adaptive coping skills among parents.
Participants criteria:
(1) Parents who have at least one child at age range of 5-11 years old, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
(2) Parents are staying in Klang Valley.
(3) Parents are NOT diagnosed with psychological disorder or chronic illness.

Time taken to complete the questionnaires is only less than 10 minutes. All information will be kept confidential and no risk is involved.
