"The MAPS Research Collaboration (MAPS-RC) is an initiative of the Malaysian Association of Psychology Students (MAPS) that aims to promote student-led psychology research in Malaysia by fostering collaborative research among student researchers.

We offer a platform for student researchers to invite collaborators from different institutions to help with data collection, data analysis, and manuscript writing. If you're interested in collaborating, please read our guidelines and fill out the application form, or email us at mapsychs.exco@gmail.com.

Full title: Perceived Racial Microaggression, Social Support, and Mental Health Outcomes of University Students of Different Ethnicities in Malaysia.

Brief Description: We are conducting research on how racial discrimination can affect the mental health of university students from different ethnic backgrounds, and how social support can moderate this relationship. The results from this study will inform an Honours research thesis. Participation is completely voluntary, and your data will be kept strictly confidential.

To Participate You Must:

✅ Be at least 18 years old

✅ Be an undergraduate student in Malaysia (Malaysian OR international)

✅ Be able-bodied, cisgender, and heterosexual

✅ Not hold any prior diagnoses of mental illness

Compensation: Participants can partake in a lottery to win a RM 30 GrabGifts voucher in exchange for their time.
