“The moderating effect of information exposure between stigma and help-seeking behaviour for mental health”
This project aims to understand the relationship between information exposure, treatment stigmatization and formal mental health help-seeking behaviour.
This study will help increase the current knowledge on the relationship between stigma and seeking help for a mental health (aka. emotional/ psychological) problem from a professional. It will also help professionals understand how mental health awareness may help anyone who needs emotional/psychological support to feel empowered to seek and receive the care they need.
Participation in this study:
1) You are between 18 to 64 years old
2) You are Malaysian
3) You either have not undergone any mental health care at all OR have begun undergoing mental health care within the past 1 year
